Duncan Imperial. Released 1954. plastic (polycarbonate) with steel axle. The world's best-selling yo-yo. Introduced in 1954 as a plastic (tennite) version of the wooden Model 77 Tournament. Narrow string gap, steel axle, plastic body — ideal for looping and basic string tricks. Often referred to as an 'American Classic.' Still in production today.
